Here's to new Cougs! Please give a Cougar welcome to Kaitlin Sholder, clinical instructor in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care and the newest member of WSU’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital team. Sholder graduated from Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine before taking a small animal rotating internship at WestVet 24/7 Animal Emergency and Specialty Center in Boise. Most recently, she provided emergency veterinary care at a referral center in Spokane before calling the Palouse here home. Sholder was raised throughout the West, including California, Colorado and Montana. She has three pets: bear, a border collie, Zoe, a Labrador mix, and her cat, Mitty. Mitty and Bear are the two making an appearance with Sholder here.
